About SGHS

Shalhevet Girls High School is only Orthodox Jewish high school for girls in Vancouver, BC. It offers an intensive dual curriculum program for students in grades 8 - 12. We have a first-class Judaic Studies curriculum which provides our girls with strong foundations of knowledge, skills, and committed Jewish Identity. Our General Studies program is customized by our staff to fit individual class needs and meets or exceeds the British Columbia Ministry of Education standards for high school graduation. Our students graduate as well-rounded young women who are prepared for higher education at any secular or Judaic institution.

Shalhevet is also dedicated to instilling in each girl the importance of community, leadership and giving. In addition to their studies, students are encouraged to participate in various extracurricular activities to enhance their personal growth.
